Serene is a Java server at heart. Bedrock players are welcome and can join, but you’re playing through a bridge built for Java, so some things won’t look or work quite the same.

What to expect

• Some custom textures may not load, or may show as plain items or blocks.
• Custom models like furniture, plushies, armor and cosmetics might not display properly.
• Some custom menus may look off or not open at all.
• Voice chat is a Java mod, so it isn’t available on Bedrock.

This is just how Bedrock support works on a Java server. It isn’t something wrong with your game or your account.

Your username

Bedrock names start with a dot, like .YourName. Use it with the dot anywhere you type your name, including the store and vote sites.
