October 13, 2026 | Community Showcase #1
Welcome to the very first edition of Serene Spotlight! 💗
There’s so much more to Serene than what you see at spawn. Behind every beautiful build, bustling player shop, and memorable community moment are the wonderful people who make our little world feel like home.
That’s why we’re introducing Serene Spotlight, a new series dedicated to celebrating the creativity, kindness, and community spirit that make Serene special!
From breathtaking builds and hidden gems to talented creators and familiar faces, we’ll be sharing some of our favorite discoveries and stories from around the server.
For our very first edition, we’re exploring a pastel paradise, visiting a charming player shop, admiring some spooky-season art, celebrating a particularly welcoming community member, and highlighting some Halloween movie night fun!
🍮 Build Spotlight: Pompompurin Mall
Built by Bubbles
If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into a pastel-colored fairytale, Bubbles might have built exactly what you’re looking for!
This week’s featured build is the absolutely adorable Pompompurin Mall, a towering Sanrio-inspired creation that’s every bit as impressive as it is cute.
The mall rises several stories in soft pink and white, wrapped in climbing vines with flower boxes tucked under its windows. Right in the middle of the front, a giant Pompompurin face smiles out over the street, little brown beret and all.
Out front, a wide pink staircase leads up to the doors, lined with glowing lanterns, flower planters and cozy wooden market stalls.
And somehow, it only gets better from there!
The surrounding neighborhood is just as enchanting, with pink-roofed cottages, castle-like spires, cherry blossom trees and winding paths. Tucked between the buildings are little garden nooks to discover: a pond with its own waterfall, an apple tree full of red fruit, and a mossy wooden archway glowing with purple portal light.
Bubbles has even scattered jack-o’-lanterns and pumpkins around for spooky season! 🎃
🎀 More Than Meets the Eye
While the outside is enough to stop you in your tracks, there’s plenty more to discover inside.
Step through the doors and you’ll find a bright atrium where vine-covered pillars frame a glass waterfall pouring down the middle of the room, with a pink staircase leading up from below.
All around it are little shop stalls and display counters filled with plushies, collectibles, spawn eggs and building supplies, each one dressed up with its own signs and decorations.
What makes Pompompurin Mall so wonderful is the amount of care put into every part of it. From the giant Pompompurin face to the smallest flower pot, there’s always something new to spot.
Whether you’re looking for building inspiration, somewhere pretty to explore, or just an excuse to take a few screenshots, this is absolutely a place worth visiting!

🎨 Warp Spotlight: Banner’s Haven
A Little Shopping Paradise for Creative Minds
Run by Raye_Akemi
Looking for the perfect finishing touches for your latest build? Our very first Warp Spotlight might have exactly what you need!
Welcome to Banner’s Haven, Raye_Akemi’s banner shop and a proud part of Crescent & Co., a shopping arcade in the town of Lunaris.
Getting there is half the fun. Crescent & Co. is all white stone and glass, with flowering vines spilling over every pillar, lanterns along the walkway and little chandeliers hanging from the glass roof. Signposts point the way: banners and shields in one direction, colors and runes in the other.
🛍️ A Builder’s Dream
Step inside Banner’s Haven and you’ll find long counters lined with custom banners in just about every style you can imagine.
There are tulip banners in every color of the rainbow, heart banners, striped and scalloped designs, and a whole wall of spooky-season creations, including a witch, a grinning pumpkin face, a monster, a clown, a pirate and a skeleton. There’s even a Featured Banner spot that changes every month!
Alongside the banners you’ll find potted bushes, pink flowers and other little decorations for finishing off a build. Can’t find the colors you want? Raye_Akemi takes custom orders, so you can get a banner designed just for you.
The shop itself is beautifully organized, making it easy to wander through its different sections and discover something you didn’t know you needed.
🌙 Around Crescent & Co.
While you’re there, take a stroll around the rest of Crescent & Co. You’ll find the Lunaris sign with a row of armor stands dressed up out front, more player shops like Araceli222’s rainbow wall of stained glass, and a cozy LUNA plaza at the end of the walkway with a long table set with cakes and treats.
Whether you’re shopping for a particular project or simply looking for inspiration, Banner’s Haven is well worth a visit.

🖌️ Creator Spotlight: LunoNox
A Little Halloween Magic, Hand-Drawn
Serene is full of talented people, and not everything they make is built out of blocks!
This week’s Creator Spotlight goes to LunoNox, who drew a Halloween version of me as a witch! (Hi, it’s lyndsayrae, your server owner and the author of this post. 👋) 🧙♀️
Thank you so much, LunoNox, for sharing your talent with us. I absolutely love it! 💜
🌷 Player Spotlight: meowbun2
Spreading a Little Kindness Around Serene
Not every contribution to a community comes in the form of an incredible build or an impressive achievement.
Sometimes, it’s simply making someone feel welcome.
This week’s Player Spotlight goes to meowbun2, a familiar face whose kindness and positivity have become a lovely part of everyday life on Serene!
Whether it’s greeting a brand-new player arriving at spawn, welcoming back a familiar face, or simply sharing a little positivity in chat, meowbun2 consistently goes out of their way to make others feel included.
For newcomers, those first few interactions can make all the difference. Having someone there to say hello, offer a friendly welcome, or make the server feel a little less unfamiliar is something that shouldn’t go unnoticed.
It’s these small acts of kindness that help turn a Minecraft server into a place where people genuinely enjoy spending their time.
Thank you, meowbun2, for being such a wonderful part of our community! Your positivity and kindness are appreciated more than you know. 💗
🎬 Community Spotlight: Spooky Movie Nights!
Organized by pumpkinias
What’s better than a cozy movie night during spooky season?
An entire month of them, apparently! 🍿
Throughout October, pumpkinias has been bringing players together for regular movie nights, organizing screenings several times a week so everyone can kick back, relax, and enjoy some seasonal favorites together.
From spooky movies to a little supernatural romance (Twilight, anyone? 🧛), these gatherings have given players a fun way to spend time together beyond their usual Minecraft adventures.
And that’s exactly what makes them so special!
Between gathering resources, working on builds, running shops, and completing quests, it’s easy to get caught up in everything there is to do on Serene.
But sometimes, the best moments happen when everyone puts their projects aside and just hangs out.
These movie nights are a wonderful reminder that our community extends beyond the blocks we place and the worlds we explore.
A huge thank-you to pumpkinias for putting so much time and effort into organizing these events and creating opportunities for everyone to connect!
Haven’t joined a movie night yet? Keep an eye on our Discord for upcoming screenings throughout October. Grab a snack, get cozy, and come hang out with us! 🎃💕
💌 Until Next Time, Serene!
If there’s one thing we hope this first edition of Serene Spotlight shows, it’s just how much creativity and kindness exists within our community.
From the incredible imagination behind Bubbles’ Pompompurin Mall to the charming shopping experience at Raye_Akemi’s Banner’s Haven, LunoNox’s witchy portrait, the warm welcomes from meowbun2, and the community gatherings organized by pumpkinias, there’s so much worth celebrating.
And these are just a few of the wonderful things happening around Serene!
🎁 As a little thank-you, everyone featured in this edition will receive 3 Seasonal Keys in their vaults!
